Cookie policy
Last updated: 16 Sept 2026
Deutschly sets two cookies. Both are needed for the site to work the way you asked it to; neither one follows you anywhere, and there is nothing here to opt out of.
The cookies we set
| Name | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
gl_refresh | Essential | 30 days |
gl_locale | Functional | 1 year |
- gl_refresh
- Keeps you signed in between visits. It is set only when you log in, marked httpOnly so no script on the page can read it, and scoped so it is sent only to the sign-in endpoints.
- gl_locale
- Remembers whether you chose English or Arabic, so the page arrives in the right language and direction instead of switching after it loads. It is set only when you pick a language.
Browser storage
Two more preferences are kept in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, which means they never travel to the server at all: your light or dark theme choice, and a copy of your language choice. Clearing site data in your browser removes both.
What we do not use
No analytics, no advertising pixels, no social media buttons, no third-party trackers of any kind. That is why you were not shown a consent banner: there is no non-essential tracking to consent to.
Removing them
Your browser settings can block or clear cookies for any site. Clearing them here signs you out and resets your language to English — nothing else is affected, and your account and progress are untouched.
This page describes how the platform actually behaves. It is not legal advice, and the operator details and governing law still need to be filled in.
